Joining solar panels in parallel

When joining solar panels in parallel the “current capacity” (ISC) of each panel is added together and the “voltage” (VOC) stays the same. Depending on the current generated by the solar panels, Y – Connectors, Branch Connectors or Combiner Boxes are used combine the solar cables.
